I've been a big fan of MMA since the early days of Ken Shamrock and Royce Gracie having war in the Octagon so I've seen the MMA change dramatically. The UFC started as a tournament to pit different fighting styles against each other. In reality it was created to prove the power of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Obviously a lot has changed since then including the fighters. Most of the fighters now are hybrid fighters, they learn all aspects of fighting from Muay Thai kickboxing to boxing to wrestling to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. One of the best known hybrid fighters is Chuck Liddell aka "The Iceman". Chuck Liddell dominated the sport for a long time. He has knocked out some of the best fighters in the world, including Tito Ortiz and Randy Couture. He was the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion after beating Randy Couture for the title, he later lost the title to Quinton Jackson and after that his career has been in a kind of downward spiral. A lot of guys in the MMA world believe its time for Chuck to retire but that is the furthest thing from his mind, he is already talking about wanting to fight Kieth Jardine and Randy Couture again. I believe that he still has some fight in him and that he can make a great comeback. I've really enjoyed watching his fights in the past and I've put together a page to showcase of his greatest UFC moments, please check out the page. I've also included a poll where you can cast your vote about whether you think he should retire.
